A:  ASTM C 1071 is the performance-based standard which has replaced the previous Federal HH-I-545 standard. The ASTM C 1071 references a Type I and a Type II product. The Type I classification will refer to blanket, or flexible liner in roll form. Type II refers to sheet or board material for use mainly in plenum applications.
